The movie "Strait Jacket" (ストレイト・ジャケット ) was shown in theaters during the summer of 2008 and it is based on the light novel series by Sakaki Ichirou ( 榊 一郎). It's a Sci-Fi movie that is set in a world where magic and guns are both present. The article describes the movie as "full of action and fantasy entertainment".

Hyakko has been made into an adventure game scheduled for release in 2009! The title is Hyakko Yorozuya Jikenbo (ヒャッコ　よろずや事件簿!) in PS2 format.

Hyakko was originally a web comic and also a popular anime production which started its broadcast from October 2008.The anime unravels a high school comedy that centers around 4 heroines with extraordinary personalties.

The series will first be broadcast on Fuji TV on their Noitamina channel on January 15, 2009. The series will be broadcast every Thursday and will be shown at 24:45.

This February, there will be a large scale event in Akiba to celebrate the fact that the Macross SDF-1  launched into space sometime in February 2009, in the Macross TV series. The event is called "Macross Super Dimension Space Launch Ceremony ~It's really 2009! It's 2/22 (Nyan Nyan Nyan), Deculture!" and will feature many special guests from the series. So if you're a Macross fan, this is probably one event you don't want to miss!
