Anime:

Yasai no Yousei (やさいのようせい) - N.Y. Salad  will be releasing a 3D film early next Spring. This is a charming series of animation shorts about vegetable fairies by Yoshitaka Amano (天野喜孝) (Final Fantasy). The series began in 2007 and released a DVD box set this past year. It's won various accolades and awards. Great for audiences of all ages.

The upcoming Gintama Movie (銀魂 新訳紅桜篇) for 2010 has posted a movie trailer on their official website.

Meanwhile the Hidamari Sketch website has been revamped for the upcoming 3rd series Hidamari Sketch×Hoshi Mittsu (ひだまりスケッチ×☆☆☆). Look forward to this upcoming January. The girls are all looking as cute as ever!

The upcoming anime Working!! posts a second page to their online manga to keep us coming back.

Nougyou Musume! (農業ムスメ) (Agriculture Girl) is an upcoming anime series based upon a series of 4koma. They've just posted another short 4koma on their website and it looks cute! Published by Toei Animation, expect to see more 4komas in the near future.

Additional staff and casting information has been posted on Dancing in the Vampire Bund official anime website. (Bund is a German word for "league or an "association"). AT-X will be broadcasting the series beginning January 2010. It's worth checking out the video preview posted on their website, especially if you're a fan of the Vampire/Lichens story relationship, but be warned, the video may contain some mature content.

 More screenshots have been released for Tokimeki Memorial 4 (ときめきメモリアル4) by KONAMI scheduled for release early December for the PSP.

Girls with huge guns, GOD EATER(ゴッドイーター) is coming to PSP's February 4, 2010.

If you're into romance games, and you don't already have the Memories collection for your PSP, starting December 17th, the Memories 5 (メモリーズオフ) series will be released at a lower price. It's the best time to collect this classic series by 5pb.

Yet another chapter in the Harvest Moon series for the DS is coming this winter called Harvest Moon Twin Village (牧場物語 ふたごの村). This time there are 2 villages in the game, and depending upon which village you begin in, you'll unlock different aspects of the game. The graphics look traditional, but no one plays Harvest Moon for the cutting edge graphics. It's the strangely peaceful and addictive nature of the farming game that has earned the series a huge loyal following.

Here's a perspective of how popular Dragon Quest IX is: As of the third quarter of 2009, Dragon Quest IX sales top the international figures at nearly 4million copies sold. And it's not even released in the US or Europe yet!! The next highest game is Wii Sports Resort at 3.014 million copies sold worldwide. Despite it's popularity, don't expect to see this game ported to Europe or the US until April 2010 at the earliest. It might be faster just to learn to read Japanese...
