Yamaha has done it again - based on the Vocaloid 2 singing synthesizer application software comes three new titles coming your way on 4 December! One of the voices used in the software is even based on Japanese rock band, Supercar's singer/songwriter Furukawa Miki! ^^
The artiste edition, 'VOCALOID2 SF-A2 codename miki' is a new series that features collaborations with artistes, and this time, Yamaha has roped in ex-Supercar's bass vocalist Furukawa Miki.
The software tries to stay true to Furukawa's vocals, and the finished product boasts of a wider singing range for the Vocaloid! That means you can practically go wild with your song creations and compositions ^^
The next Vocaloid to be released is 'Vocaloid 2: Vocaloid Sensei Hyouzan Kyouteru.' This excellent Vocaloid features a huge, extensive vocal library and new audio recordings. Not only can you reach those high notes, you can also feature low, baritone voices for those nice, ballad-y compositions~
There's also an elementary school Vocaloid called Yuki, where Yuki's voice is based on the singing voice of a very cute young girl ^_^ Of course, with the Vocaloid software, anything is possible. It's really up to you to make all those song compositions and creations work!
Do look out for the Voiceroid releases as well, featuring siblings Tsukuyomi Shouta and Ai ^^ This Voiceroid software works just lke the Vocaloid software! Type in any text of your choice and listen to Shouta and Ai read it out loud~ You can adjust the reading speed as well as the intonation, and be surprised at just how natural their pronounciations are~
Kudos to Yamaha for these new releases, all coming your way 4 December! ^_^
